Grand Vintner's Dinner - Domaine Chandon & Newton Vineyard, Napa, Califonia

With Winery Ambassador Rich Buchanan and Executive Chef Ken Lingle

Reception at 6:00pm; 4-course dinner begins at 7pm

We offer this most exciting dinner joining two exceptional California wineries, both owned by the French luxury company Moet Hennessey. Domaine Chandon is a true California sparkling wine pioneer, founded in 1973 by Moet & Chandon to become the first French-owned sparkling wine venture in the States. Moet’s beginnings date back to 1690 with the father of Champagne, a Benedictine monk named Dom Pérignon. Every bottle of Chandon wine expresses their French heritage mixed with innovative American spirit.

Newton Vineyard, established in 1977, was one of the first wineries on Napa’s Spring Mountain, a rugged appellation located on the eastern flank of the Mayacama Mountains, which separates Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Newton was the vision of founders Dr. Su Hua and Peter Newton, who recognized the potential of Spring Mountain as a prime viticultural region. Robert Parker said of their wines, “All of these wines from their beautiful mountain vineyard are among the most natural made in the world.”
